What is Tridle? Triple Wordle
Tridle is a game based on the hugely popular Wordle by Josh Wardle, where you try to solve three puzzles (Triple Wordle) at the same time. It is also modeled after Dordle and Quordle, but a little different (3 instead of 2 or 4!)
Shortly after I started playing Wordle in early January, I wanted to play more games so I decided to make a Wordle game so I could play as often as I wanted. I made WordGuessr in a day or so. It ended up being fairly popular and lots of people still play.
Recently, I started playing Dordle (where you solve two puzzles simultaneously), which adds an extra layer of challenge onto the Wordle game. I thought that a triple Wordle game would be a fun game to code up and since I’d already made the structure of the single game, how hard could making 3 be. Well, it took me another day or so to work out all the kinks and it was also stretched my CSS skills to get all the look correct with all the various permutations of the game and generating three boards simultaneously.
If you know how to play Wordle, then the rules are the same:
1) just type in a guess and and press ‘Enter’.
2) the game will indicate how good your guess was for each puzzle separately. If any letter are in their correct position they will turn green, if they are correct but in the wrong place, they turn orange, and if they don’t show up in the word they turn black.
3) guess again, using the clues from the previous word
4) repeat until you get each of the words correct or fail to figure them all out after 8 tries.
5) you can share your results with other folks
6) play all you want
The game is created using HTML, CSS and Javascript code to create interactivity and UI.

I love this game. It’s helped me with my vocab and my spelling.
When I am at the end and I have guess incorrectly, is there a way for me to see what the correct answer is?
at the bottom there will be a ‘continue’ button and it’ll tell you the answer.

Our game seems to only allow us to type in one of the three sections and then the system copies those answers to the other two. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this same thing and knows how to fix it. Thanks!
That is how the game is designed. One set of guesses for three separate words.
Kinda weird. Very fun tho.
Just have an idea of how are we doing, it would be interesting to see some statistics of percentage of games won, average number of tries, etc between all players, or some sort of ranking.
My sister and I play this game every morning. We started comparing words and found out that our games are different words. Is there a way that we can play the same words?
That’s because there isn’t a daily puzzle and you can play multiple puzzles in the day. Would be great if there was just a daily one for this exact reason!
I have been playing Wordle, Dordle, Tridle and Quordle. Wordle gives 6 chances to guess the word, Dordle gives 7 chances, Tridle gives 8 chances and Quordle gives 9 chances. I have the hardest time with Tridle. I think it is because the person selecting the words has fewer shared letters between the words. If we are allowed 6 chances for one word, shouldn’t the number of chances be increased by more than one for each additional word?
No, because the 6 guesses you get for the first word also help you guess the second, third and possibly the fourth word. Example: you guess the first word in 4 attempts (which is pretty easy to do), but while having guessed the first word, you also got a green and 3 yellows for the second word, 2 yellows for the third word, and 3 green for the fourth word. This will add up the more words you guess and by the time you have guessed word one, two and three, word three might also have become 2 greens and 2 yellows. It wouldn’t Be a challenge if the formula of amounts of guesses; 5 + ‘amount of words you need to guess’ is changed to something easier.

Love this game. For my own peace of mind will you answer whether the 3 words are locked in from the very beginning or can a solution word change as the game goes along? I can’t believe that when I get a word down to one missing letter where there are many solutions (eg STA_E which could be solved adding G, K, L, T, V all of which are available) I consistently choose the wrong letter even with multiple chances to get the right letter remaining.
Yes, the 3 words are chosen at the beginning of the game so it sounds like you are just getting unlucky.
I play lots of these games and the best way to get round your problem is to think of four words which use 4 or 5 different letters of the alphabet. Use those 4 words first, and then it’s usually possible to work out each word without wasting turns.
In your example of STA_E, you can enter a word with 2-3 of the possible missing consonants. (G, K, L, V, T)
For example, GAVEL or PLATE (which would position the second T). This gives you good information, even if just by ruling out wrong options.

Enjoying the game. It’s tough. Only success has been with the technique of using four obscure words that find twenty letters. No repeat letters.

I’m using the scrabble dictionary to verify words, and it doesn’t allow proper nouns (which includes names).

how does this game work, im confused
It’s just Wordle… rather the other wordle inspired games.
Enter one set of letters. It will be applied to three separate game grids. Each new row is applied the same way. Once a grid is completed correctly, no more entries are displayed. You need to find all three words.

How to share without showing letter results
After you finish the game, tap on the CONTINUE button. Then,.in the pop-up, tap the SHARE RESULTS button. Your word grids, with colors but no letters, will be copied to your clipboard. Then, you can paste it into a text or email.
How do you isolate each word as you as them?
you cannot do this, you have to do them at the same time
